About the Artwork: Initiated in 2020 and finalized in 2021, this series moves from tight interior atriums to open horizons, mirroring a shift from isolation to connection. Each panel layers hand-pulled monotypes, linocut reliefs, and collage. Neon pigments serve as nervous-system regulation and resistance. Child-grade watercolors sit beside fine-art papers, collapsing hierarchies of access and value. Exposed seams and fractures echo non-linear, neurodivergent memory, while diasporic perspectives reshape architecture, color, and play into tools for personal restoration. Viewers are invited to map their own emotional journeys across these shifting spaces of lament, curiosity, and connection.
