About the Artwork: This series, initiated in late 2019, documents a personal journey from lament to confidence. As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded, it became a visual narrative of resilience and hope. Utilizing accessible materials, I explored themes of joy, hope, and resilience through playful colors and textures. Inspired by the excitement and hope in the eyes of my daughter and the many children I taught at my studio, I sought to create works that evoke a sense of optimism. The interplay of light and shadow, bold strokes and delicate details, mirrors the nuanced nature of emotional experiences. These works invite viewers to explore their own emotional landscapes, encouraging reflection and renewed wonder for the future.

Printed collections from the Making Peace series are available in limited edition of 60. The edition is tiered, which means the lowest edition numbers are offered as an affordable investment. Those who purchase in low edition numbers will invest at a lower cost. The value of the artwork will rise as the edition sells out. Prints are signed and numbered.
