What methods of teaching do you use?
Methods are informed by interdisciplinary approaches and values that include:
Art Integration, connecting art with other content to facilitate active learning and increased knowledge.
Process-focused and maker-centered approaches to enhance critical & creative thinking.
All classes and workshops embody social emotional learning components.
The studio practices creative reuse which materials from the waste stream and demonstrates responsible consumption and production.

How does it work? Classes are currently running though community centers and artist-in-residencies. Classes can be held in partnership with community-based organizations like schools, museums, township recreation departments, rehabilitation centers, churches etc.

What age range are these sessions for? Classes are flexible. Ronya & the Re-Deme team of teaching artist have worked with infants to adults. Most classes are perfect for ages 4 and up. We have also customized art classes for infants and toddlers.
