“Express” is an exploratory art course to empower and unlock your child’s creativity and emotional intelligence.

In this course kids will explore drawing, painting & sculpture in an expressive manner.

Kids in this class will:

• Create art projects using expressive, mix-media and studio art techniques

• Receive an introduction to art vocabulary & tools

• Learn to draw, paint and experiment with 2D & 3D design

• Learn about famous artists and their artistic processes

• Receive group and 1-to-1 art instruction from professional artists.

• Reap the well known benefits of the arts like stress relief, attentional skills, self-awareness, emotional regulation and the ability to problem solve, communicate and collaborate.

Ages: Great for kids 5+.
Classes are split up into age appropriate groups.
Location: Express is offered to K-8 students in weekly forty-five to sixty minute state standards-aligned workshops or residencies.
