Ronya Dones

Artist · Educator · Founder

p> Ronya Dones is an artist, educator, and founder of Redeme Studio. She is drawn to the intersections of faith, art, and human connection, and committed to building spaces where all three can meet.

With a background in Studio Art and Psychology from William Paterson University, and training in art ministry, prayer ministry through Elijah House Ministries, and therapeutic art life coaching, Ronya has spent more than a decade designing and leading arts, wellness, and community engagement programs across schools, nonprofits, museums, libraries, and faith-based organizations. Her work blends creative expression, emotional resilience, and practical support, helping individuals and communities reconnect with themselves and one another.

Alongside her creative work, Ronya serves as a Regional Manager for The Salvation Army, where her work centers on community care, family stability, and connecting individuals and families to practical support during times of need.

Through Redeme Studio, Ronya develops workshops, community art experiences, and creative reflection programs that invite participants to slow down, process life honestly, and move forward with clarity and hope. Her current work includes Nourish to Flourish, a creative wellness initiative combining reflection, community, and practical support to help participants take meaningful next steps toward a more peaceful and fulfilling life.

Lore V.

Teaching Artist

Lore is a trauma-informed visual art educator, multidisciplinary artist, and public school art teacher in Newark, NJ who has been part of the Redeme Studio teaching team since 2018.

With over a decade of experience in public schools and therapeutic settings, Lore brings a contemporary approach to art education, engaging students of all ages through creative, healing-centered practices.

Her work has been featured internationally, including screenings at MoMA, L.I. MoCA, and La NoBienal in Costa Rica, as well as performances at Newark Symphony Hall and KuBe at Ethan Cohen Gallery.

Regina A.

Community Engagement Specialist

Regina is a community advocate, wellness facilitator, and Certified Life Coach with a passion for helping individuals and families navigate challenges and build confidence for the future. Her background includes serving as a First Responder and Case Manager with the Women's Rights Information Center in Englewood, NJ, supporting clients through crisis, advocacy, and resource connection.

As Community Engagement Specialist for Redeme Studio, Regina helps cultivate relationships with community partners and participants, ensuring programs remain responsive, accessible, and rooted in local needs.

She also serves on the Board of Trustees for Redeme Studio's nonprofit initiative, ART+, supporting programs that provide food, holistic care, and community support for survivors of domestic violence, low-income families, and displaced individuals.
