About the artwork: This is the beginning of a series titled Making Peace, a playful narrative on the transition from lament to confidence.

A series that began at the end of 2019 proceeded into the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. Ronya used the accessible materials of her community art studio to process and reflect. The glimpses of excitement and hope in the eyes of her daughter, and the many children she taught, inspires the playful colors and textures found throughout this series. The works represent a mixture of childlike faith, emotional sophistication and wonder for what the future holds.

Printed collections from the Making Peace series are available in limited edition of 60. The edition is tiered, which means the lowest edition numbers are offered as an affordable investment. Those who purchase in low edition numbers will invest at a lower cost. The value of the artwork will rise as the edition sells out. Prints are signed and numbered.
