10 Week Sponsored Art Apprenticeship for Youth Living with a Specific Disability
We give our tailored art and design based mentorship program to two mentees a year for free.
Our teachers will walk alongside two mentees ages 12 and up who want to grow in art and design skills. Through this program we will work with our mentees to choose one art and/or design related project that goes beyond themselves and also helps others. We will use our experience in design thinking, project management, entrepreneurship, education, creative changemaking, coaching and the arts to help them work toward completing their goals, while learning new skills, creating a portfolio, and helping others along the way. This program is infused with project based learning and art-integration, methods that are proven to benefit those who struggle in a traditional classroom setting.
